There's Nothing Mistaken with the Muslim reciting ruqyah for himself. That is permissible; without a doubt it is an efficient Sunnah, with the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) recited ruqyah for himself, plus some of his Companions recited ruqyah for them selves.
